"A major take away from the foundational training is use of invitational language and authenticity. In inviting a participant to engage in body forms, I need to not only settle my body to offer a solid and safe space, I need to maintain settledness when a participant declines an invitation. Doing this is an act of de-traumatizing. Behaving in any other way holds the possibility of being retraumatizing - the antithesis of what this training is about."

Hi! I'm Alli, she/her

I am a Registered Yoga Teacher, a Trauma Center-Trauma Sensitive Yoga facilitator and trainer, passionate about empowering people impacted by Complex Trauma to discover their ability to find healing and connection from within themselves and among community. I am committed to holding space for myself and those I have the privilege to support in anti-oppressive and supportive ways so that we may explore opportunities for individual and collective healing. My partner and I have two young children and currently live on the ancestral lands of the Squaxin Island Tribe and the Coast Salish people known as the colonized town of Olympia, Washington.

Thank you for being here.
